Where do you perform as a mermaid?: I do my best to bring the performance to where ever you are! Any venue, be it a party center, a rec facility, a hotel or your home, is a good venue to have mermaid entertainment in. While water is typically prefered, I am just as happy to perch on a chair or any spot allotted to me on land.
How do you walk in your tail?: Truth be told, I don't. When I'm in my tail, I need to rely on my pirate friends to help me maneuver over land. For this reason, every booking includes a pirate friend who will oversee these details.
How long can you hold your breath?: This can vary a lot. My average is 45 seconds to a minute. My top time is 3 min.
I want to be a mermaid too! Can you teach me?: At this time I am not certified to give mermaid swim lessons to new aspiring mermaids, but I do teach buoyancy and safe weight belt basics for seasoned merfolk. Inquire within for more info.
How much does the tail cost and where can I get one?: Mermaid tails come in varying materials, are made for all body sizes, and start around $112 and go as high as $5,000. Some reputable companies are Mertailor, Finfun, and Finfolk.
How does your makeup stay underwater?: Different mermaids have used different methods. I prefer NYX for waterproof primer and sealant.
